Hi there , You only need those 3 files x38DS5_SLIC.F7F, autoexec and FLASHSPI. Rename the x38DS5_SLIC.F7F to x38DS5.F7F. This because otherwise the autoexec wont work when you flash from dos. You can flash by dos using a floppy or usb flash drive to do so. Gigabyte also gives you a windows flash tool called @bios.
Thanks for the info mate... But installing/flashing my bios with the slic one... I need to install the certificates isnt it?
Yes after the flash you need to do 2 command in cmd slmgr.vbs -ilc (license name, sample c:\Dell.xrm-ms) slmgr.vbs -ipk (key)
I searched for a moded BIOS for my ASUS P5WD2-E Premium and I found it but it was only one file "*******.ROM" im I missing something here ? also, if the flashing process failed or the moded BIOS was corrupted, is there any chance to revert my bios back to its original state ? 1 more question please, does the cert. have to match the bios ? and the serial also ?
