i i have pc wrong install windows xp sp3 sata

    hi i have pc motherbord gigabyte ep 41 hard 500 gb new ram new 2 gb vga 2 gb whaen i install windows 7 no problem but whean i install windows xp sp3 sata this problem blue screen stop:0000000 why many thank

    You can use Nlite to add the SATA drivers into a XP image.

    As you get into adding the drivers it will ask you which mode to add them into and if my memory serves me right you will have to select TEXT MODE.

    Another way, sorry if I'm wrong but that board is LGA 775.

    Download the SATA drivers and load them onto, get this "a floppy" then at the beginning of the XP install you can select to add drivers, you can then browse to find the SATA drivers and this should work.
    Using a USB drive should work the same, I would format it to FAT 32 though.
