I know this may be a silly question but, I upgraded another machine I have here, with a retail installation of windows 8, from the MS store and since then, it takes a VERY long time to boot up. The computer is fairly new and has a UEFI bios. If after starting the machine I need to do a reboot it is very fast. Before the upgrade it took next to no time to boot (has an SSD) but now is so slow I can get my windows XP machine to start faster. Is it possible to get what I need or, do I have to go the Store method and download the iso that way? MS sure makes it hard to get this OS.
