    i have bios chip programmer i just want .rom or .bin file so thanks for send to me this file ...:)
    but how to get rom file in the 1450.exe bios?

    Hi tqhoang,

    Can you mod this bios to disable whitelist check ? accidentally i broke my lcd and tried to replace it with compatible one from ebay. since its not from dell and it does not have exactly same part number bios is not accepting it and giving 8 beep. (Laptop studio 1450, Service tag 97GG4BS, Old lcd is from samsung and new is LG)

    Where can I find out the procedure to recover the BIOS on the Dell Studio 1450.

    Even though this thread has been inactive for five months, you still responded to my post. All i can say is THANK YOU VERY MUCH! This day, i will try to repair my 1450 by the ROM and WPH you provided.
