    Hello All!

Thank you for the great forums held here in which I always find helpful details.

    I have a small request:

I have Toshiba A300-14S Laptop, with SLIC TOSQCI, holding Windows Vista 32 bit installed.

I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. I would like to know how it is possible to activate my laptop permanently using XRM-Ms technique and modding of BIOS.

    Details:

    Notebook: TOSHIBA A300-14S TOSQCI (PSAJ0E)
    BIOS: Phoenix v4.20
    ACPI Tables: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=5202&stc=1&d=1261665090
    BIOS from vendor: http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20090226125740.zip

I hope that you provide me with the full details about this, including the Ultimate OEM-SLP key and XRM-MS file and the modified BIOS.

I would be very thankful for your help.

Actually, my BIOS version is 4.20 and I checked with SLIC Toolkit, and SLIC version I have is 2.0 not 2.1.

    Thanks for help :)

Maybe my question is stupid, but, should I mod my BIOS before or after Installing Windows 7?

Wouldn't really matter when you mod it. As you would have to still flash the BIOS at some stage.

    Done!

    1- Downloaded the file.
2- I modded my BIOS using WinPhlash.
3- Vista did NOT lose activation, SLIC is 2.1.
4- Formatted, installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Installed the given XRM-MS file.
5- Installed Product Key from those given in this forum.
    6- Windows is activated.
    7- Wonderful!

    Thanks for all who helped.
