Hello, I have windows 7 ultimate installed on my m5-481 notebook, but lately I decided to add an egpu instead of my wifi card, I bought an external egpu holder for my notebook, installed a 9500gt, however when I turned on the pc, it worked just fine , then windows said that the driver did not recognize it, and it disappeared from the device management, can someone help me with this and some idea of what I can do, by the way, I'm using a weak font for this video card, because it is weak too, I just wanted to use it correctly without driver errors, because currently it does not even appear in the management of devices, but it is still connected to the notebook and giving power. PS: I'm using the translator because I don't speak much English
but I don't have the option that's what I said, the only thing I found was waid (I don't remember if that's the name) "waid to lan" but I disabled it and it didn't work
I installed windows 10 pro, as said before, I installed the essential drivers (netframework etc) but now the egpu 9500gt card no longer appears
maybe your bios dont support a external adapter for a GPU...try the acer forums and see if u have better luck finding the issue.
I thought it was with the BIOS of the mru notebook so I commented here, because some methods worked, but after restarting it went back to "normal" and didn't install the card's drivers anymore, but ok, I'll take my doubts and see if my pc supports external video card
