    thank you for the tip, but its not working for me. I tried steps A to B numerous times with no luck at all.
    i think its a little more complicated than that, im almost certain HP makes those advanced menus inaccessible

    that article seems to be what i need, but i am halted by an error when i try to run fla$hit from my DOS drive

    i get this error

    Code:
    Error:  IHISI 10h fail.  internal error 20
FBTS:  permission is denied by user

    i have no clue why i get this error

    I am getting the same error when trying to use flas**t from a usbdrive.
