Core Single Language was installed on the computer as Microsoft classifies Brazil as an "emerging market". You could download and install Windows 8 Core/Professional and activate with any of the KMS activation methods found in this forum. Then you could change the language to PT-BR and be back in service. Or if the computer specifications support it you could upgrade to Windows 8.1 and enjoy all of it's quirks!!
Why should he, as he can use pt-BR Win 8.1 SL ESD offered by MS from the Repo and become genuinely activated . There is no difference in Features between Core and CoreSingleLanguage .
Because he asked for Windows 8 and not Windows 8.1. If he does want to upgrade he can go the route you have posted.
Most people ask for Win 8 CSL cause they heard it gathers the key automatically in opposite to Win 8.1, but that's not really a problem .
