If you can't find this option in bios then your proc isn't compatible.

I use cpuz to check cpu. P8600 can support intel vt-x.

But Bios no menu to enable intel vt-x.

    Any update on Modded Bios?

    Hi, any updates on this?
I too have Acer Aspire 4935G, the p8400 or p8600 supports VT-x , however the Insyde H2O BIOS (v 1.08 as described above) hides some menu
    to disabled it by default.
In reading the full service manual, ( i'm unable to post link since i'm a new member, let's try -> scribd.com/doc/46698291/231-Service-Manual-Aspire-4935-4935g ), you could see that the option to enable VT is not in the advanced menu, instead it should be under : Power > Advanced CPU Control > Enable VT ...
Is there anyway we could enable / unhide that menu to enable it ?

    Thank you so much! :worthy:

    Hi all.
Link -> habrahabr.ru/post/152056/ (russian) article how to identify bios vt-x lock and enable vt-x (Acer aspire one). This not return menu, but force on vt-x and lock it to enabled state. You must have skills: asm, ida or any else disassembler and phoenix tool.

    Good luck.
