hi all I registered today because I have 2 questions Q1: What's the difference between win 7 Ultimate & win 7 Professional ?? Q2: Can I install win 7 ( Ultimate or Professional ) on pc with these Specifications: System Manufacturer: Intel System Model: D845GVS1 Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz Memory: 1022MB RAM ( 512MB + 512MB ) Space: 40 GB Note: I use graphics programs !! that's it ... Q1 -> very little difference. I think proff has no games and such Q2 -> absolutely ! just turn off aero and it will run smooth.
7 runs well on all sorts of machines, even older lower specced ones. As Genuine555 said, turn off aero if you want windows to run smooth on your machine. I would add more memory if you are able to and maybe some more hdd storage.

It will run fine if you turn off the visual enhancements such as AERO, etc.... Also turn off unneeded services like tablet pc service, etc... (do some reasearch about which services u can turn off safely) The only thin i'm worried about is that you might need some extra few gigabytes if you plan to install alot of programs otherwise you'll be fine d00d! Windows 7 will run fine, much better than Vista anyway
All should be good, I would also just buy 2 (1GB) chips to make sure things move a little smoother. Ebay or Craigslist would be the cheapest since it is an older memory, retailers price it through the roof.
