I really need help with my ASUS notebook.. My final year project depends on this

    Model: ASUS A55V (same as K55vd i think)

    Problem: my bios bricked.. after some changes i made in bios setting.. when i push the on button, no display at all, hdd light on a second then gone..

    i tried to remove CMOS battery, push button 2 minutes n on, and others, its not working.. i think i might need to recover bios..

    please help me through this, i'm currently in my final semester, i'll be grateful for any help from you guys..

    Did you flash the bios or just change bios seeting ?

    changed the setting.. after restart, only shows black screen.. :weep::weep::weep:

    The option to remove the CMOS battery was a possible issue,

    You can also remove the memory stick and the CMOS battery in the same time 1/2 hour, put a new CMOS battery and put the memory stick , and try to switch on.

    ctrl Home to recover. or ctrl alt home.
    might need file in usb stick with proper filename for recovery.
