Hi there! I remember a thread in this forum that enabled me to use a provided (list) of special keys for win 7 upgrades. It was an Anytime Upgrade Key for Windows 7 Home Premium to Pro or Ultimate. Easy, no hassles! Ran a small command line check to see if it would work and I went for it. Now, can the same type of procedure be used for Win 10 Home to Pro, without the use of KMS or a new load? If so, where would that be? TIA! EN
Maybe there is a bit of confusion here, my bad... I want to go from W10 Home To W10 Pro using an activation key, like what was done for W7. I already know about the KMS (activator) way and I could do that. Is there a resource here that can get it done for 1 one W10 Home to Pro conversion, just by the key? Thanks again!
Great! Now how do I do this: "With win 7 you could use the keys.ini keys from Windows Loader to anytime upgrade to a higher sku." How would I find that file on my W7 ultimate system? Thanks!
SLP keys are not recognised by the activation server... Win 7 had local activation so could do the activation upgrade...WAT changed significantly since then. Online activation is necessary... ie. Retail/MAK - if not KMS.
