I have a genuine Windows 7 Home on an old laptop. I would like to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. Should I reinstall the laptop with Windows 7 or 8.1 Pro (using daz loader) and then upgrade to Windows 10 Pro? Will the activation be legit?
no not legit, how could using a loader or anything of the kind be legit if your system came with home and you put pro on it? Will it work? Yes. Install 7 pro, use loader, upgrade the 7 pro to 10, you get 10 pro. Then if you choose to clean install that is up to you. Upgrade from 7 to 10 must be done first with internet enabled or the activation of 10 will fail.
If you have windows 10 pro just go and upgrade your windows 7 home to pro with an slp w7 pro key and when you finish the upgrade download daz loader activated the windows and after from your desktop run the setup.exe from an windows 10 pro iso and just wait to finish the upgrade and you are all done.
actually, now that I stopped thinking for a second. if you use a pro anytime upgrade key in home, it will update home to pro, then you can just run win10 setup.exe and continue on without having to go through the whole install of 7 pro
Here's an MAK key for Windows 7 Professional: [No MAK] Use anytime upgrade to upgrade your current Windows 7 to professional edition. Then activate it using the given key ( if it has exceeded the activation limit, try activating it using telephone). After that, go and upgrade to Windows 10 Pro directly. I have tried that the activation status would remain if your previous system was activated by an MAK key.
Better do not hint others by posting this . 'Report Post' so Administration will see that internal 'flag'.
