Asus PC1000HA AMI BIOS Rev 2204 (most recent) Chipset: Intel 945GME (ICH7-M) Hello, The problem is that there is no option to enable AHCI in the BIOS, which means it is permanently on IDE emulation. I'm very adamant on having AHCI enable since I plan to install an SSD on this netbook, which requires AHCI to enable TRIM. We know that this can't be a hardware limitation since the ICH7-M is capable of AHCI. I don't understand why Asus did not include AHCI in their BIOS. I have tried contacting them to release a BIOS update, but so far I've only received unhelpful replies pointing me to irrelevant FAQ pages. If anyone knows where I can contact more competent techs at ASUS, or if anyone knows of a solution to this problem, please reply and I will be eternally grateful. Thanks
