Because Windows 10 installs on unsuspecting people and it's so different from the Windows 7 that they are used too, They call me to either explain how to use 10 or more often, put Windows 7 back on their pc's. Thanks Microsoft for the extra income this year!
Argh, I can't count the times I had to reinstall 7 inside my circle of friends. I really should claim payments from Microsoft!
In a few years they will go back to Windows 10 because a) their computers died, and the new one will have Windows 10 or b) when Microsoft stops supporting Windows 7 all together, and they realize they are screwed they will call and beg to have Windows 10 put back on!
... and maybe in a few years there is no more need for a desktop / laptop anymore, because we do all with our mobiles and pads.
Welp, not all Win7 users know they are using Win10. Had a person call the other day and ask what happen to their computer. I helped them to get me a remote in and I see they have had Win10 installed for over 3 months, and just now noticed it LMAO. And, mobiles and pads replacing desktops? Mobiles are mobiles, they wont replace anything for me, and there is only one place a pad should be
Windows 10 is just a fancy skin for window se7en, It might be 10 on the outside BUT still 7 underneath
Honestly... believe it or not, their are some people out there that want nothing to do with their pc's except to go to facebook, get their email and shop. If something goes wrong they call someone else or they get a new pc because they do not want to know how to fix it and don't care to find out how. I do a service for those types of folks and they want that service and are happy to pay for it
To be fair Vista was way more effective on that, I spent two years wiping Vista and [re]installing XP Were two boring years but, at the same time, very effective for my finances.
You can also make a living by going from Vista to Windows 7 too, provided the pc can use 4 gb's memory... get's kinda iffy for some
windows 7 sucks!!!! is slow cow and need a bunch of 3 party apps to complement it ....why would anyone want to stay or go back to that.
Yes. But at the time Vista was released there was no 7, and my TARDIS was down for maintenance 2GB are more than enough to run 7, at least for the vast majority of users who does basic tasks. For such users an upgrade to ssd is way more effective than an upgrade from 2 to 4 GB
