So get yourself Optiplex GX620, extra PCI-Express nVidia card, and can also throw Pentium D processor.
Works as good as any real Mac
And with Parallels 5 makes perfect machine to run Windows on as well (or you can dual boot)

Been looking for something like this, will try it out.

 

I have tried several Hackintosh ISO's with no success also. Just need it to work for about 1 hour 3-4 times a year. I don't need a whole genuine MAC for that.

What hardware is this configured for? Core 2? Standard P4? Virtualized? Memory size? ICH 8, 9, 10? etc?

 

Minimum SSE3 processor (Pentium D works nice, but ie. P4 630 SL8Q7 will also work)
Memory, as always - the more the better, make it 1Gb bare minimum, go for 2-4 Gb RAM
Chipset? Intel 945 Express chipset works nice, but not to say others will not work

But still, I do recommend iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 Lite Edition or original 10.5.6 (somehow I do not like the 10.5.7)

i successfully installed mac osx by iDeneb and clicked on restart button ,then i booted from hard drive and screen showed up boot0 error,i think i am missing a bootloader and i tried to fix it using terminal in utilities by fdisk command and rebooted but the problem still exists .
i am on lenovo y550 laptop
with nvidia geforce 310m and sse2/sse3 compatible hardware and 4gb ram
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Go to insanelymac, boot0 is an error that happens often, you will find solutions there

Now i'm trying this once again. I have for the longest time tried to install this on my pc. (My specs are on the signature) can anyone tell me if this would work (in process of download as i write this)
