yes, I'm able to get it just fine too except for that first run issue. I also tried the disable option, works fine. Was just wondering if other tools can do it without needing the extra tweak. Using the Nov 2013 windows 7 AIO by murphy78, it has the same issue, but when you apply his Dec13 patch, it fixes it. IE11 on first run only shows the wizard/extra tab properly, and never shows it again. I was hoping to get it like that. He obviously figured out something. Thanks!
I've tried to upgrade IE on my Acer laptop several times, not work. I'll try this one, i hope it will work. Thank you....
Is there any prerequiste updates for installing the newly leaked IE11 with Enterprise Mode for Windows 7 coz am not able to install it on a fresh install of windows 7 pro vl as it as this update is not applicable to your system.
Yes, you still need to install the same prerequisite updates before installing this security update (which should be released officially next month), and install the original IE11 before you deploy this leaked update. Please note - You will still be offered this month's security update KB2925418 through WU, ignore it or hide it cause the leaked update already supersedes it! As you know the prerequisite updates are available to download on the first post of this thread
Is it just me or does IE11 have a lot of issues with websites even with compatability mode? Seems worse after this weeks security update KB2936068 . Freezing and pasting won't work at times?
I wouldn't know cause I'm not using IE11 with KB2936068, I'm using the latest version that was backported from Win8.1 Update, and I've had no problems with websites. I would recommend you download KB2929437 which is available in the first post of this thread!
Jesus I downloaded all of them on the first page but picked x86 for the 437, duh. Just installed the proper x64 version thanks
Hey steven would consider making an upgrade pack like you did for 8.1 update for IE11.07 for win7 32/64 bit? thanks!!!
I could do that, but since all the download links on the first post are available to everyone, I see little benefit to making a setup pack. Plus MS already provides that service in the original IE11 installers, just run one of those and before it installs IE11 it downloads the latest updates.
It's quite simple mount the image and then I use this code to integrate IE11 (be sure to integrate the 5 required updates before you integrate IE11!) Code: dism /image:c:\offline /add-package /packagepath:c:\updates\IE11\IE11-Windows6.1-KB2841134-x64.cab Of course you can change the paths to where the updates and IE11 are stored on your PC, and replace x64 with x86 if your using a 32-bit only computer, which is rare nowadays.
Which are the 5 required updates? Can you please list them for me or direct me to where can download them?
Hi All, After integrated IE 11.0.12 to an SP1 ISO, Windows Update show KB2929437, KB2976627, KB2977629 updates for IE11. Only one match with "Updates since release of IE11" in the first post. Which is misleading or just not updated?
It's a mistake by MS, they haven't updated the WU server to stop offering those updates that have been superseded, like KB2929437 and KB2976627. You only need KB2977629, though the msu file only offers English, so if you're using another language version of Win7, you will need to download KB2977629 through WU, because it would contain files for your language.
