    Hi Friends:

Yesterday, I installed Windows 8.1 with Media Center and when I open IE11, I have the following message in some sites, t.msn.com including:

    Security Alert

Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available, do you want to proceed?

    Yes No View Certificate

It's the first time that I used IE with this kind of problem...

What do you recommend me to fix this problem?

    Thanks in Advanced,

    TecMan

First of all check if you realy installed Windows 8.1. The atteched image doesn't seem to come from IE11 because it has all the windows elements of WindowsXP.

I wonder why are you not able to post a screenshot of what you are seeing in Win8. That pic is not from Win8 machine for sure.

    Ignore it and click NO.

You attached a warning from Windows XP. :rofl6:

If you really see that message, it can be numerous things:
    1. Some new certificate requirement websites have not yet adopted. IE11 support may come later.
    2. Something is wrong with your system (on the software side).
    3. Your date/time settings are incorrect. That means trouble when it comes to validating certificates.

    Hi Friends:

Thanks to all for your inputs...

I checked date and time in my PC...they are correct...but I'm still have the Alert Security message...

I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2014 as my antivirus....Do you think that Bitdefender caused this problem?

    Thanks

    TecMan

Most a/v programs intrude on the browser now, so yes... I think it's very likely.

    Hi Friends:

I just want to say "Thank you" to all for your inputs...

I needed to clean installation for my PC with Windows 8.1 with Media Center...it's working without any IE11: Security Alert message

    Thanks
