IE11/Windows 8 blocks MyDigitalLife

    Maybe not surprising but IE11 (in a fresh install of Windows 8.1) says it's blocked a popup when I try and open MyDigitalLife and adding the site as an exception didn't help. I've had to disable the popup blocker completely and now it opens, albeit along with two other blank tabs.

    EDIT: Actually, it seems I was being paranoid. It's actually clicking on links in e-mail from mail.google.com that are blocked. After adding that to the Allowed sites list, they open but still with two blank tabs, which is annoying! Doesn't happen in Win7 either.

    Seems fine too me, though I use either Firefox or Chrome for my Internet activity :rolleyes:

    OK, seems it's the Avast IE Add-On that causes it to open two blank tabs plus another for the linked website, when clicking on a link from gmail!

    if MDL is blocked it could generate more attention & in the end MDL would be even more well-known.
