does anyone know how to get flash videos to work in IE9 on the imdb site? I've always had issues viewing them, I think I must of blocked something somewhere down the line, but I don't remember what. They play in firefox but I use ie9 as my main browser. All I see is a white box and some unclickable black buttons at the bottom when I try and view a trailer.

Yet on youtube and other sites with flash videos there are no issues.

Reset your security in IE under Tools/options/ security. They play fine as you know, so it must be your settings of IE or flash, reset them both

nope, still not working, just seeing an empty white box. Any other ideas? I searched for a solution but found none, which is strange, you'd think it would an easy fix.

yep, still no luck, everything else works fine on ie, it's just imdb being a pain with it's videos, it's not like I can't watch them in another browser, I just want to figure out why ie won't play them. hmmm...

    .

What type of video card are you using? Integrated video or dedicated video card? When's the last time you updated the video card drivers?

Tried all your suggestions, i'm not going to dwell on it anymore, if I need to view trailers, there's plenty more sites available. Thanks, IE9 is my new main browser so I can't be ar*ed to switch again, besides everytime I use firefox I get carried away and fill it up with useless addons. Curse you open source!!!

There's just something about the IE9 UI that makes me like it more than IE8...also I think the firefox 4 theme is horrible, but anyway that's for another topic / forum.

didn't like it, I could use v3 but I like to use the newest build, but as I said, wasn't impressed with what it looks like now.
