IE9 installation form Windows Update : Unknown error Code C355

    Please when i install Internet Explorer 9 from Windows Update Installation aborts and gives to me Error Code C355 : Unknown Error . What may i do for installing IE9 from Windows Update ?

    Thank you but with a clean install i have Error Code 7E unknown error

    If a "clean" install is giving you errors, I'd suspect causes other than an IE9 Update. Why not get a clean download of Windows 7 as provided by THIS site and start over? Since you've stated you're re-installing anyway ( "Thank you but with a clean install....") get a Windows 7 SP1 ISO known to be clean from here. Then download the IE9 installer and do the install manually.

    No . I am using win7 SP1 x86 italian .
