Anyone else had this issue. Brand new laptop, fresh install of windows. Every time a new tab opens with a link in it, or i press open in new tab, the tab opens but nothing loads! Have removed norton, same problem. Reset IE settings, Tried the famous CMD script that's been going around for this issue. But its still occurring! Anyone have any other advice?
Disabled all addons. Will give this a try. It had Mcafee preinstalled, and people say that it could be because of that. I uninstalled using the Mcafee removal tool, have used reg cleaner and ccleaner to remove entried etc still doing it. Ill try what you mentioned and ee what happens!
Yeah, you'd have thought i'd hav already tried that. Seen as my first post states that I've applied every script going.... -_-
Hi, did you ever get a resolution to this please? I have the same issue, no joy with scripts or registry. Tried uninstalling and installing IE8 always the same, open in new tab doesn't work. I'm loathed to rebuild the machine as everything else is working fine.
