If we don't receive this patch after opting out of windows insider that means 10240 is not RTM I'm still waiting for it on my machine after opting out of windows insider
I think not receiving it after opting out of windows insider is a sign that 10240 is just another preview build still waiting
What is all this fascination with RTM... Even when you are on the RTM build, the very next patch/fix/update means your no longer on RTM build, so what the hell does it matter
I did that Windows 7 HB >> Windows 7 Ultimate + Daz >>> Upgrade 10240. The Insider option was disabled from the first boot. I'm still waiting on the updates, tho.
I have a device that was upgraded from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro that has never been in the insider program and I got the KB3074665 update. I also have another device which was cleaned installed with an old preview build, upgraded to 10240, then opted out of insider builds and it has also got the KB3074665 update.
Settings -> Update & Recovery -> Windows Update -> Advanced Options -> [Stop Receiving Insider Builds] I have received the patch after resetting (Reset PC) the bug fest Windows 10 was.
so I got this update today, then after the system restarted I noticed the watermark was gone but I'm still on 10240 and there's nothing in Windows>About that's says anything about October. I think this means I'm at RTM and I'm fully activated at updated from 8.1 Pro.
I´m not logged into insider. Just local account. And I got KB3074665. Downloaded and installed without error.
