Hi guys, I missed so much how windows 7 can preview a selected image on the bottom of it's window. The only image preview I've found in 8 so far is the big panel that you can activate on the side of a window, but it's too big for a notebook screen in my opinion, so...someone that know a way to add back this feature in 8? By hack or whatever? :|

Me too! You can try this: sumtips.com/2012/11/windows-8-move-details-pane-to-bottom-of-explorer-window.html (Untested... Copy / paste to address bar).. Let us know your results!

I've tryed it but it has f**ked my pc, so I had to restore the backupped files...the problem is uac maybe, I've to try to put it off completly...With the mod, at startup you cannot log in with your pass because it says that it can't find your user account or something like that, keeping you at the logon screen...

Here, too. Seems any modification to shell32.dll results in a blue screen, even with UAC off.:confused:

People modify dll files with reshacker since winxp, to have windows look better.
Also the status bar of Vista and 7 gave much more than just a image preview.
