I use Macrium Reflect these days, but used Acronis up to 2018. My drive (SSD) is only 14-15 GB used and it takes me about 2-3 minutes to make a complete image to a second HDD that comes out at about a 7.5 GB image file. With 130 GB used, the only way I can think to speed it up would be to clean up the drive as much as possible first, by deleting old system restore points (many gigabytes usually), old Windows Update files, and several other similar things.

It takes me just over 2 mins to image about 20gig, the image is being saved to a internal 2nd SSD drive which is much faster than saving to a hard drive, the image being just over 8 gig
so of the top of my head 130 gig would take about 25-30mins, 130 gig being quiet a large to image (remember just a guessmate)

This is on my desktop with Ryzen 3600...blah blah a fairly new system

You don''t state how much was on the old laptop, i'm guessing not a 130 gig

If your saving to an external drive it will slow things down, big time

also if you increase the compression, slows things down a lot
