I have searched far and wide and tried every one I have come across. I need to tattoo the previous board info into the replacement board HP sent me. Please if anyone has the latest or a version that I can use to input the serial, sku, product family and CT #, etc onto this replacement board; provide me a link.
All of the utilities I have tried either tell me that it is not supported on the platform or that it is not a correct version to run. I am assuming because it is a relatively new laptop 2014 and all the programmers are older than that.
There was one here that said it had some typo's and to edit the .bat file, did that, still didn't work.
HP will not give out the utility for notebooks.
I have tried one that looked promising that would install (HP Bios config utility) on Windows, and run it from a cmd prompt to export a config file but then it would crash when trying to load the config file.
    Tried running as admin etc...
    Tried this already...h t tp: / /wintegrity.blogspot.com/2012/12/how-to-fix-product-information-not. html
