Who knows about a tweak to, increase the AREA (not border size) along a window edge for the cursor to more easily turn into a double arrow for resizing?

Example, I place the cursor over an edge of a window, or most critically, a 'Column' division line in a detail or list view, but it's VERY difficult to locate the area to resize. The cursor needs to hover over a very narrow range and almost has to be perfectly on the line to resize. This is very twitchy and takes far too many attempts to get the cursor to change to a resizing one. One of the big frustrations of using Windows for me.

I wonder if this 'detection area' can be increased so the cursor can resize a column more easily? This can be adjusted on Mac OS X BTW, can't find anything for Windows 7.

    Ideas???

Try WinAero Tweaker from Winaero.com (also found in these forums). It enables you to easily set border width and border padding values.
