infcache.1 file where is it in Windows 7 ? USB ERRORS

    guys
    i must delete the INFCACHE.1 file in windows 7 because i have lot usb problems
    and i startet with usb troubelshooter tool but he says infcache not found
    where is it ? i cant search because i deactivate the search index
    if anyone could say me how to reaktive the search index too thanks

    Go to in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore

    To turn the search back on


    Code:
    from the run box type 
    services.msc and
    Turn Windows Search back on

    thanks but it says when i want to start the service that windows cant find the file :eek:

    In "folder options" go to "view" and under "hidden files and folders" turn on "show hidden files,folders,and drives"

    Set the Windows Search service to start automatically and make sure these services are also running

    1. Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
    2. DCOM Server Process Launcher.

    Then restart the computer and see if the Windows Search service is running. If not look in the events viewer for errors.
