we need to start a thread about Infineon Technologies bios roms like the one in my hp 8710w workstation sendspace.com/file/mlvaai is my original with flasher and original rom.cab plus daz loader slic .rw and pre daz .rw i also included a universal bios extract rom anyway to get the slic to stick permanent? i am at f.20 and i can only reflash that version. it flashes modded bios but does not update the slic. any help would be appreaciated thanks
likely have to use modded HPQFlash.exe or try the hexeditor. load from ram the flash exe to change slic 2.0 to slic 2.1 in hexeditor ( complicated.. and needs slic 2.0 in bios update)
already tried that it stays at 2.0 trying to get someone to write a editor for the Infineon Technologies bios. i can edit the modulus and table just cant find the header of slic i even hexed the rom.cab files and flashed with modded hpqflash still comes up as 2.0 . right n ow i have daz loader which survived sp1 install
