    i hope that it is fixed now. but there are some serious other bugs like device removals and bluetooth enabling/disabling.

    You may get your wish for IE-11. Microsoft plans to release versions of New Edge Browser for Win 7, Win 8.1 in addition to Win 10.

    in that case I guess will be only for Windows 8.1 & 10, because now Windows 7 is only on extended support and no new features added.

    no, extended support for Windows 7 SP1 started in January 13, 2015 and ends in January 14, 2020, thats why they have not introduced support for new technologies in Windows 7 since 2015.

    I guess something similar to POSReady in Windows XP, just to fix vulnerabilities.

    Edge can be delivered as an application and not as part of the OS.
    It would not be considered a new feature of the OS, but a separate application like .NET Framework 4.7.2 or Silverlight.

    Hell I'd still be running 7 if I could, new hardware new OS, no choice because of drivers. So far 10 hasn't given me much over 7 except hardware support, a few little conveniences, but not worth all the crap I have to strip off or disable.
