This info is for all who will modify WIN7 to Business,HomeBasic.....version and they don't know how to made bootable DVD again.

copy DVD contents to C Drive (ie: C:\WIN7)

download cdimage.exe (attach) and extract it with winrar

copy cdimage.exe to current user folder ie:

    WIN7 - C:\Users\Curent user

    then use this command line

    cdimage -m -u2 -bC:\WIN7\boot\etfsboot.com C:\WIN7\ C:\WIN7.x86.iso

    working perfectly ;)

    Hi,

    thank you for your hint!

But.... How do you mean that? Is the image not bootable (e.g. booting computer from DVD-drive)? Is it only possible to run Win7 setup from a running OS?

    Thanks for your help!

Very nice guide. Also if you had a program like MagicISO, you could just open the archive and delete the file. Then just save, and your done.

    Hi Rudi1
    Thanks for sharing.
Your method is same as make Windows Vista Bootable DVD.
I would like to add more...
We can install windows7 from USB pendrive.
But your Mobo have to support to fist boot from usb storage too.
    Many times I did it..
    Vista x86 w/sp1
    Vista x64 w/sp1
And surely windows 7 build 6956,7000:D

Depends,I'am try to modify the business version and it's worked, but you must at first delete the ei.cfg in the sources folder(WIN7 DVD)
I'am made one slimed version and it work, only have someproblems with missing dll files, but I'am download it from net and install it,now it's fine.
Looks like that Windows7 is still Vista ;)
