Install issue

    Hi, I deleted 2 partitions (each on a different HD) and then created 2 new ones but when I try to install windows 8 or 8.1 i am getting a windows saying:

    Admin: x:\windows\system32\cmd.exe

    microsoft windows [version 6.3.9600]

    x:\windows\system32>

    What does this mean? How do I fix this so I can install an OS to my PC?

    X in the terminal usually means that the control key is being held. x:\ is the ramdrive that the installation OS is being loaded to, so something is definitely off if you are seeing prompts to it.
