Install Mac os

    hi i have macbook pro i install window 8.1 on it but i want to back on mac os how i can install mac os again

    Maybe your Mac has support for the automatic recovery process. Really it depends only by the model, if you have a recent Mac it should be easy, so what is the 'magic' number?

    Thank you, I knew that. What I asked for was the 'model' number of his|her Mac in order to give a little more help. But is great to see how in this community the help goes so quickly :cool: .

    I don't think there's any other way besides this or using your Apple ID. For cases like this, I think it's always best to leave a smaller partition for Mac OS just to be safe.

    We should use BootCamp to install Windows. With this way, MAC OS X is still there.

    If MAC OS X has been removed, we need to a bootable MAC OS X device (typically USB or DVD). I think we can buy or create one by asking someone who having Mac OS X.
