The end result of this process will be dmg (as if you were to download it directly from Apple) So the process does NOT change anything at all (it is just interesting, no other benefits)
Is there malware in the raw file? The installation is different with it in comparison with making boot disk using terminal.
other than the chameleon and clover efi boot it worked fine for macbook also. why would you make "boot disk" when the usb created via imagewriter to usb makes it all in 1 click.. uhh to make your own usb from .dmg for .raw files ? DUHH!
You dont know what is in a raw file. When checking the usb created by imagewriter raw the Clover efi is hidden. Who knows what is in there.
rotfl .. erase the efi folder if you want, mac still boots. pc hackintosh wont. i replaced my efi\clover with full new version in the 10.10 and 10.11 from win 10. u can plug in and see efi
You cant erase the efi folder when using imagewriter and the raw file, the raw creates a hidden raw partition containing the clover efi, when you delete that partition the usb wont boot. The efi folder shows only when not using raw file, like if installing clover from mac.
