    Hi

I have an Acer and a HP laptop with legit Vista on it, is there an easy way to install W7 with some leaked OEM key?
I suppose that I dont have to mod my Bios, do I?

    Thanks

You can install Win7 just fine but more than likely you will need to use a loader if you don't have Slic 2.1 Vista laptops don't come with Slic 2.1 in the BIOS. So you will have to update them.

I have a HP laptop and I believe that HP has the latest BIOS with Slic 2.1 integrated in them. Just head over to HP support and under Vista drivers you should see a BIOS update. Flash it using their utility and you should be good to go. Then you'll just need an OEM key and the Cert that matches your laptop. For the HP you'd need the HP cert and for Acer you'd need the Acer cert.

Check the version of your BIOS and if it is 2.1 you don't have to do anything with you current BIOS.
