I have no idea what you're talking about. The bubble screen saver is the same in Windows 10 (see screenshot).
Only in preview mode. It is different than 7 when it runs by itself. It runs with an opaque background.
my last big fat tube monitor went to garbage many years ago though. What is the need for a screen saver with LED screens or other flat monitors? Nothing gets burned into the matrix screen any more
Yes PD, there is no reason to have a screen saver anymore unless they have a CRT. But I guess for people who do want to see it for other reasons from the need for one, was nice of dhjohns to post it.
I am sure Microsoft will do away with it as soon as the classic Control Panel is completely removed from Windows 10.
