    is it possible to install OR if possible how to install acer eRecovery management v7.5.15 on acer aspire 5742 laptop

    I expect that the recovery software is factory installed, did you not get any recovery discs with your pc, or can you obtain these from the web site of acer. If you are looking to format and re-install windows check out your options using the acer website. You may have a build in recovery partition that will reinstall all the software that came with your pc when you obtained it.

    If you search for eRecovery management in google, first link is the user manual for the program.
    For me it looks as if there must be a CD/DVD with your system, with this software on! Or a partition on the HD.
    Take a look at this section in the manual, and see if it helps
