Hello. I have a problem with installing windows 8.1. A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a dvd, usbor hard disk driver...... My Motherboard MSI p55-gd65. BIOS is up to date. I changed the ide to ahci options. I tried the flash drive and dvd.
had same message when used a leaked version. Wrong hash. Other version was ok after verified hash data and installed smoothly
I have versions 9600.16384.130821-1623_x64fre_Client_PL-PL-IRM_CCSA_DV5.ISO 9600.16384.130821-1623_x86fre_Client_PL-PL-IRM_CCSA_DV5.ISO MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT WindowsBlue-ClientwithApps-64bit-English-X1899605.iso All have the problem
please wait until other members report about same problem and its solution. I only faced it once and as said, using other iso, all went fine
Have a read here... h**p://support.microsoft.com/kb/2755139 replace * with t Code: Update: Burning the ISO file to a regular DVD+R seemed to do the trick. Haven't gone far enough to see if I still get the media driver issue installing from within the RP. Now I will try to re-burn to the DVDRW and see what happens.
I read the FAQ, and did not help Iso is ok everything SHA-1: 657B47ACCD70ECEA2355C599BC577E9B7B906565 MD5: C78947125F1161414435E73381B938CB
I remember having a similar issue with one of the early betas of 8 vanilla. I had to install using the following trick: 1. Install Windows 7. 2. Insert the Win8 DVD when the temporary win7 is running. 3. Run setup from inside the OS and do a clean install that way. Note: You can't change the partition layout that way, and you'll have to remove the windows.old (or whatever) directory manually after the install completes. It does complete, however, so it's a workaround you may try.
today, ia hve the same issue on old dvd-rw disk, though windows 7 and other on this disk works. If I use this disk with windows 8.1 update as iso image, then ig goes without that media error, but i do not use iso, i use easyboot as multi boot with windows 98+ windows 8.1 update, and so I have this situation, as I understand, it want newer driver for dvd driver to be read out the further files, doesn`t it? My computer is 2008 dual core, bios of 2009, probably this error won`t be done on computer of earlier years like say 2012 and forward.
well, all depends on your computer model year date, every from 2009 must accept this install+ dvd recorder must be of 2008 at least, and not every company is accepted. I have lg yes, and for samsung of the same year, no! good luck.
