Hi guys, I've got a Lenovo Notebook with Windows 8 preinstalled one year ago. The Notebook got demaged by clumsy behavior (water ;P). The Notebook works very sporadically and mostly only a few minutes. Now I decided to Install Windows 8 on my Workstation. I've read out the key deposited in the BIOS. All works fine. Activating via Internet works and via Telephone too. After activating via Internet and several hours later I've recognized the following error message in my event logs: Code: Installation of the Proof of Purchase from the ACPI table failed. Error code: 0xC004F057[code] So I decided to go for Telephone. Same behaviour. So what is going on here? Is there a chance to activate this via Telephone asking a call center agent? Or will they say Licence blah blah blah? If not is there a possibility to inject the key into the Bios of my Workstation? Thanks for help! pwned P.S. Is this error message actually relevant?
