Hi I’m new here. I just installed a MSI RX 460 on to my Benicia motherboard. Let’s just say this computer is really old 2007-2008. And it will not detect the Graphics card in device manager. I’m running windows 7 with 8gb ram and and a pentium E2200 processor. I’ve tried updating bio upgrading windows. Booting to PCIx16 where the card is installed and nothing. I’m doing an upgrade to windows 10 to see if that works. (Even tho I don’t want to upgrade) anyone have any ideas? It would be much appreciated! ☺️

Side note: I kinda know my way around a computer but I’m don’t know more of the super technical things.

If you can, try the video card in a different pc to confirm that it does work
Is that Benicia motherboard in an HP computer?
Chances might be the power supply, that video card requires 75w from the pci-e slot and MSI still recommends a 400w power supply.
