Installing Flash Player 11.5.502.146 For IE-10 Windows 8 x64

    TESTED ON Windows 8 Release Preview x64

    1.Google & Download Flash Player 11.5.502.146 (IE)

    2.Google & Install TakeOwnership

    3.Goto:
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed & Take Ownership of Flash folder & RENAME Flash.old
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed & Take Ownership of Flash folder & RENAME Flash.old

    4.Run Flash Player 11.5.502.146 (IE) in compatibility mode for Windows 7 & Install

    5.Goto C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash & RENAME

    Flash64_11_5_502_146.ocx TO Flash64_11_3_370_178.ocx

    FlashUtil64_11_5_502_146_ActiveX.dll TO FlashUtil64_11_3_370_178_ActiveX.dll

    6.Goto C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash & RENAME

    Flash32_11_5_502_146.ocx TO Flash32_11_3_370_178.ocx

    FlashUtil32_11_5_502_146_ActiveX.dll TO FlashUtil32_11_3_370_178_ActiveX.dll

    Take Ownership of mms file & open with Notepad & Copy & Paste ProtectedMode=0 into mms file & save.

    All Done :)

    Notes:
    Works with Adobe Flash Player 11.6.602.146 Beta

    NOT Working on Windows 8 RTM (Build 9200)

    FOR Windows 8 RTM (Build 9200) - AFTER USING Flash Player 11.5.502.146 (IE) METHOD ON/IN Windows 8 Release Preview x64:

    Windows 8 Release Preview x64:

    1.Goto
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed

    COPY Flash folders & SAVE IN SAFE PLACE

    Windows 8 RTM Build 9200:

    2.Install TakeOwnership

    3.Goto:
    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed & Take Ownership of Flash folder & RENAME Flash.old
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed & Take Ownership of Flash folder & RENAME Flash.old

    4.RENAME files in Flash folders FROM Windows 8 Release Preview x64 TO THE SAME AS files in

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash.old (Windows 8 RTM Build 9200)
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash.old (Windows 8 RTM Build 9200)

    5.COPY Flash folders FROM Windows 8 Release Preview x64 INTO

    C:\Windows\System32\Macromed (Windows 8 RTM Build 9200)
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed (Windows 8 RTM Build 9200)

    All Done.;)

    Ditch IE and use Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc... and have the freedom to use what ever version of flash you want.

    Actually it does....
    Microsoft doesn't allow you to install your own version of flash for IE
