it all depends on the model of pc/ cpu/ videocard how well it comes out in end. need the retail dmg of mac 10.6.3 (7.8 GB neds Dual Layer.. so people preffer USB 8GB for Snow leopard.. or 10.7 (4.2GB) Lion u can burn to dvd with Transmac in slow setting or something that handles DMG properly. need FakeSMC 4. and Chameleon 2.1 or similar bootloader and a SMbios.Plist to fake the mac model closest to your chipset /cpu. the DSDT usualy helps to fake the core hardware properly to OS X checkout insanelymac.com install guide for your motherboard or laptop model.. check you bios version too!

it all seems ok .. try 4gb ram to install. need the guide for lion then after .. dsdt customize and tweaks. nvidia anything higher than model 2xx needs Lion
Hope you were lucky, if not those things might help you: 1st.) I guess you have MBR and not GUID partition table, so you need those two moddified files to be able to install to MBR partition table: System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Frameworks/OSInstall.framework/Versions/A/OSInstall 2nd.) For sure you need FakeSMS.kext and Extra folder with org.chameleon.Boot.plist and SMBIOS.plist. 3rd.) You might need DSDT patch for your motherboard (specially for rebooting and shutdown), this can be easily find by g00gle You can start with reading at oralila.com, tonymacx86.com or, as mentioned, insanelymac.com.
