Installing the new windows updates then the old updates

    So what will happen when u download and install the new Win updates first and then the old optional updates ?
    and do I have to download and install the 'Optional' windows updates ?
    On Win 8.1

    If you have to download optional updates, that would kind of defeat the purpose of the word optional lol

    As far as old over new, new usually supersede old. Windows Update will give you what you need and the optional as well. Pick your poison and DL them.
