The HDD in my 2012 (Win8) Samsung laptop crashed so I've decided to replace the HDD with an SSD and then install Win10 LTSB 2016. However I can't find Win 10 drivers for my laptop on the Samsung support site so I'm wondering if Win10 will provide the device drivers I need or if I'll have to use some driver update software? Also, I'd appreciate some insight as to which tool to use to activate Win10 LTSB 2016, MS Toolkit or KMSpico?
You start with a clean slate, so try and play with it, win 10 will provide the drivers. ps, i prefer abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL 10
Glad to hear that Win10 will provide the drivers (Samsung Support sure doesn't)! Ps. Can you please provide a link for abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL 10? ...and what makes it preferable to you?
Seconded. The best IMO. KMS functionality is as normal, no need for a scheduled renewal task at each boot, as with most of the others. Couple of links in my sig.
its a beauty. add to setup media(easy instructions how to), activated at 1st logon, doesnt need .nets, its really sweet
There's a good chance Ethernet and Wifi adapter drivers are supplied but are older version. To prevent issue download only network driver and graphic driver, 2 essential drivers for new OS to get up to functionality.
Abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL does it at a 2 1 week frequency but why a daily/reboot renewal would be bad is a mystery to me @vuze4u: i never had any bad experience with the drivers provided by WU on 10, only once with an old obscure usb>com port adapter cable.
