First, You need to download Microsoft toolkit 2.4 beta 6. Secondly, you choose install product key for office 2013 pro plus. After you do this, it will give you 30 day trial. When you want to have this 30 day trial again, you click 'rearm' from 'activation' tab in this toolkit. You can confirm it by clicking 'check' button. I tested it and it works again. While waiting for a permanent activation solution, this is as good as you can get at this moment.
Good question. The rearm limit for Windows 8 (where rearming doesn't do anything) is 1000. No idea if that applies to Office as well, or if it keeps a separate rearm count.
I don't think that it applies to Office because office and win8 are 2 separate products. I don't know how many times you can rearm office 2013 but I know that we can do it more than 1. I offered this solution because I want us to continue using office 2013 as long as we possible can until an activation solution for it comes out.
I don't know the answer for your question because we have been using office 2013 for less than 30 days. Before I rearmed it, I had had 26 days to use it without activation. I have 30 day trial now after rearming it. Hopefully, we don't have to answer question because we can use a new version of toolkit to activate office 2013 in win8. With this rearm method, you can use this product for 60 days instead of 30. Nobody knows if we are able to use it more than 90 days because we are not there yet.
Yes, but Office 2013 on Windows 8 uses Windows' licensing system instead of a separate one for Office. "slmgr.vbs /dlv b322da9c-a2e2-4058-9e4e-f59a6970bd69" shows the Office license status, including the remaining Windows rearm count. That rearm count isn't specific to a product though, but to the licensing service. So, I don't know if this applies to Office 2013 (rearming with slmgr.vbs /rearm would have to rearm Office as well), or if Office uses a separate rearming system (ospprearm.exe). However, I have just tried rearming with ospprearm.exe on Windows 8 (because I can't be bothered to rearm Windows with slmgr and reboot), and it logged these events in the log: So it does look like there are just three rearms available for Office 2013.
if we're only allowed to rearm office 2013 3 times, our software will stop working before an activator comes out.
i do it but i receive this message License Status: Notifications Mode Error Code: 0xC004F056 Error Text: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated using the Key Management Service (KMS). ---------------------------------------
There´has a solution arrived for this. First link in my sig . Sounds you installed retail version, you´ll need volume license (VL) one.
i have same License Status: Notifications Mode Error Code: 0xC004F056 windows is ok but office 2013 vl fails
