    hey

I have an old desktop PC that has a intel motherboard and intel bios. It is D845 PEBT2 motherboard, it uses P4 3.0GHZ HT processor. Is it possible to modify the bios and add the SLIC 2.1 string to it? For offline activation or no?

    Thanks

I had a look at archive BIOS for this board:

    BIOS update [BT84520A.86A]

And sadly it would not be possible (even if it is AMI BIOS - which I do not know), as it is split into chunks P01-0005.BI1, P01-0005.BI2 ...
Intel2Ami can not deal with such files

I tried joining them, but the total size is less than 512k (which is too little)
512k is only when also including BIOS.REC, but...

2 files P01-0005.BIO & BIOS.REC are identical, so do not know how to join them

Maybe you could use amiflash to save the BIOS to a single .rom file?
    iflash does not allowe saving
