    Hi. I thought I would put this out here to see if anyone has successfully installed the drivers for this.

    We know of course that there is no official support for Vista;

    downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81501/Intel-HD-Graphics-2500-for-3rd-Generation-Intel-Core-Processors

    I've attempted to use the Win 7/8 drivers (x64) and although the files do extract and install, they are not recognized by device manager, and thus - failed.

    Thanks!

    And is there any specific reason to stick with Vista?

    Hi and thanks very much for your helpful reply.

    With the (in)valuable information you've provided I now, after searching long and hard, have the solution to resolve and overcome this previously perplexing issue.

    It's an honour that you, a Super Mod / Advisor, would take the time to unselfishly assist me. :worthy:

    Maybe if you answer the question he/she would understand why you don't use a windows version which is compatible with the hardware.

    can someone help me with pointing towards the archive drivers for INtel HD3000 (2nd generation laptop graphic drivers, core i7-2760QM).
    I normally keep the last 2 and delete older ones.
    I am looking at releases of second half of 2014.
    I have releases of Feb 2015 and June 2015.

    While there is no official support for IvyBridge graphics on Vista, there are two driver revisions from a beta branch that actually work: 15.26.8 and 15.26.12.
    Though, because they're beta, they're unsigned and you can't get them off Intel's website anymore, you'll have to google for some working downloads.
