intel RST Driver won´t install

    Whats your chipset?

    but it was supported under windows 7.

    this is an asus Z68 pro board.

    If that ↑ doesn't work is because intel dropped support for your chipset from their generic RST driver. If that's the case just download the 8.1 driver from Asus and you should be fine. Or you could try to find a newer version on station-drivers.com

    No way it did, your chipset is not supported.
    I think the latest working for your chipset is like 13.x.

    to be specific i have a v10.5.x version that worked with win7.

    i did not know intel removed support in later versions. :(

    The RST installer has problems with Windows 10 net Framework version.

    But not the driver itself. Install the driver via device manger works perfect.

    Thats right, I never liked the Intel RST tool at all, imho useless crap. :) I allways install only the driver.
