Im heading to a 3rd world country where the internet at best is 128Kb DSL & have 1GB download limit per month.
I have the win7 "X17-58996.iso" (inc SP1) and really need to download all updates/hotfixes ect.. either, into the .iso, or as an install file before i leave.
I have done WinXp back in the day using Nlite, but im not sure which is the best way to go on Win7 x86. Any advice would be appreciated as the couple of links i tried seem to now be dead/dicontinued.

as s1ave77 said, go use Simplix pack... just wait a few days to get the latest package as we have only just May updates and it takes Simplix a few days to compile it together.
If you are in a rush then grab that pack posted and integrate, you will only be a month behind.

I use W.U.D to get my Win 7 SP1 updates and use DISM to add them.
All I add though is Critical and Important updates.

It safes a lot of time when installing a new OS.

Not an easy task huh? :haha:
Bad news, according to MDL forums untouched iso files are allowed only. Take a look at TPB and search for murphy's AIOs, maybe one of those will suffice for you.

Thanks for the help, im getting there now.. almost! I download all the ms updates using WHD and built a new image then made a bootable ISO, all within thin the app.
The entire process took 12hrs on a 2.2Gb dual core laptop but unfortunately i get an error at the end of the ms install as in the pic below.
I have also tried to boot in safe mode but to no avail :(
Could it be something to do thin IE10 update as there was a warning using WHD with that update integration
