I recently installed windows 7 build 7100. Now the problem is I can't connect to the internet. Message 'error 629: The connection was closed by the remote computer' will show up when after I click connect. Any suggestion how can I solve this?

    Error 629

This can be resolved by following these steps:

    * Restart your computer and wait until all applications have completely loaded before trying to reconnect.
    * Recreate the Dial Up Connection.
    * If your problem has still not been resolved uninstall and reinstall your Broadband modem.

I've tried all the list but still have the problem. Is this related to my ISP? Or it just my router isn't compatible with windows 7?

If it is dial-up then it is probably related to your ISP and Windows 7. Don't know what to tell you because DUN is so old there are not many resources available to help modem users.
